Application Architectures

 

Our architecture group consists of high-level computer consultants who take a strategic view of application development and application deployment, regardless of the platforms involved. The group has in-depth experience of working at the architectural level and, crucially, long experience of service oriented architectures (SOA) dating back to their inception on TP monitors. Best practice common sense approaches, such as ITIL, provide the foundation for all our architectural work.

 

The primary objective of the group is to structure application environments such that optimum application performance, high availability and manageability are achieved in a way that minimises the business risks associated with mal-performing applications. Where applications are already in production and exhibit unacceptable characteristics, remedial architectural solutions can be created and implemented. In cases where the complete functional replacement of an application is necessary we can optionally take this off-shore through our South African business partner.
